It features a harmonically rich preamp, that could easily be used by itself (just turn depth all the way down) as the "Make better-er" that you've been looking for.

With speed set low and depth up, it almost takes you into uni-vibe territory... crank those speeds up and you've just about got yourself a rotary simulator!
